I can’t say enough good things about George! He’s taken my Subaru in last minute twice now, no questions asked, and let me just drop it off, which is already amazing. Both times, he diagnosed the issue quickly, got back to me right away, and didn’t charge me either time because there wasn’t much he could do at the moment.

Most shops would’ve still charged for the time or a “diagnostic fee,” but not George. He’s honest, thorough, and clearly knows his stuff. He doesn’t take your money just to take it, he actually cares about doing right by people. That kind of integrity is rare, and I’m super grateful to have found a mechanic like him. If you’re looking for someone who’s knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely decent, George is your guy.

George has always been incredibly helpful! He gets you in right away and charges a fair price. I had a bolt in a tire, he plugged super fast and charged a fair price. When I hit a curb and shredded a tire, he again fixed it fair and fast! (I seem to be bad with tires!) (I have a Tesla, so only have needed tire problems fixed. No engine).

My husband goes to him for oil changes and car maintenance on his car. George always does his best to fix things fast and fair.

These guys helped me right away with an electrical issue relating to my headlights. They took me in without any diagnostic fee and when it ended up being an easy fix - just a fuse - they didnt even charge me. 10/10 service, and i imagine for larger fixes they would offer fair prices, and good service!

Georges hooked me up. I have brand new stainless tailpipes I needed the tips cut off to put bigger ones on. They stopped what thy were doing and did it for me. Thanks guys not many people out there willing to help the public so quick!

I continue to bring my cars back to George when they need work done. He’s quick, fairly priced, and is reasonable when it comes to what he suggests needs to get replaced. I’ve had Midas try to sell me thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary repairs- never had that issue with George!

Great place- Took our car w a flat tire at 930am on a Sat and they had the nail out and plugged and back on the car in 15 min. Great price too. Def reliable and trustable service.

I called George at 7 o'clock on a Friday morning because we had issues with the struts and axle with my car. He immediately told me to bring my car in and serviced it that morning. I was able to drive it away, get to everything I needed to get done that weekend and he did so graciously and professionally. George is a standup guy and his honesty is reflected in the work that he does.

Came up to our house in Charlestown for the NYE weekend and my Jeep's rear brakes were crunching loud. Luckily George was open. I stopped by the shop with low expectations of being able to get anything fixed on such short notice, but George replaced my rear brakes and rotors in one hour flat while I waited at the coffee shop across the street. George is great. I have been using him a few years now. I started with oil changes then moved to try him for larger jobs. Very very reasonable and a nice person. I have used him over 20 times for both cars. I have never had to return for rework. The job is always done well.

Honest mechanic. I'm a out-of-tower who had a nail stuck in tire. Went in thinking I needed to patch a hole in tire. Owner said the nail didn't puncture tire. I was impressed with his honesty. Most mechanics would have lied to make the money. He even filled my tires with air for no charge. Gave him a few bucks for his troubles. Would recommend this guy to my friends who live in area.

I was on vacation in Narragansett a couple months ago (I'm from NYC) when I had an issue with my front brakes. It would have been unsafe to travel home so I looked up mechanics on Yelp & saw the solid reviews for George's shop. I called him on Friday & he told me to bring it in Saturday morning and by the afternoon the job was completed. I don't know much about mechanical issues so I asked some friends when I got home & they all agreed that it was a fair price. Being I was from out of state and needed work done due to safety reasons he could have jacked up the price but he didn't. Honest work, nice guys & I highly recommend them.

They are the nicest most honest mechanics I have ever come across... they always call you ,explain the problem ,tell you the price ,never any surprises...I will be taking my cars here for years to come

I noticed I had a leaking tire towards the middle of Friday going into labor day weekend. I knew I needed to get it plugged because I knew going into labor day weekend nobody was going to be open. I called them and they told me to come on down and they got me in right away. They took the screw out, plugged the hole and I was on the road in about 15 min. Awesome service and reasonably priced.

Today is the fifth time we've been to George's for a variety of car issues. Even though we live in New York, we always plan our car maintenance around trips to Rhode Island just to go to George's - the crew there is consistently helpful, honest, expedient and affordable. There have been multiple times where they've fixed a superficial issue free of charge, and whenever I have had to pay for a fix, I've always felt that the price is abundantly fair and he's done an excellent job of explaining what he's doing and why. At this point, it won't take my car anywhere else!!

This is an honest, fair, and well-priced auto repair shop. They will quickly assess your car and get you fixed up right away for less money than you were expecting. This is now the only place I go to for auto repairs.

Wow! I was in a real bind with my family visiting from NJ to visit URI and Brown, but on our way, I hit a bad pothole somewhere in Connecticut.

I ended up driving 100+ miles with my car sounding like a lawnmower was in my engine.

I took it in first thing on a Saturday morning and they looked at it, diagnosed the issue, and fixed it within the hour, all for about $200.

Came here on a Saturday in distress because my car was overheating. I was close to crying when I found out my mechanic was closed on Saturdays. They were very friendly and accommodating. They fixed everything so my little orange Aveo wouldn't overheat anymore AND they even fixed a hole in my tire out of the kindness of their heart (you don't see that too often with many mechanics). Matt was a very friendly and honest mechanic.

I'll be coming back and I recommend them to all my fellow Yelpers.
